About

My name is Brittany and I am originally from Goshen, Indiana. After graduating college at Indiana University, I moved to Chicago where I spent some of the best years of my life working in advertising, meeting some of the best friends I've ever known, cheering on the Cubs, and taking full advantage of all the city has to offer!

In the summer of 2009 God led me to an organization called Destination Paradise, which offers Discipleship Training Schools accredited through YWAM. I applied for the school, was accepted, and haven't looked back since! The school consists of a 3-month lecture phase, a 2-month outreach phase, and a 4-month internship phase with the simple goal of "knowing God and making him known." This journey has been one of the most exciting, challenging, eye-opening, stretching, radical experiences of my life. So far it has afforded me experiences such as living on a sailboat for three months in the Caribbean, teaching English to villagers on a remote island off the coast of Honduras, sharing God's love with an Amazon-bound vagabond in Belize, praying with elderly women in the slums of Thailand, doing arts and crafts with orphans in India...and I'm not even done yet!

I am currently in San Pedro, Belize at the Destination Paradise YWAM base where I am working on marketing and strategic planning for DP as part of my internship. I love the island life and I marvel at God's beautiful creation each and every day that I'm here.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you are blessed through the stories and experiences that I share!
